CPAP Trial
What does my CPAP trial involve?
The purpose of your therapy trial is to determine how well CPAP Therapy works for you. During an initial consultation, your CPAP Therapy Consultant will fit you with the most appropriate equipment for your requirements.
The equipment will include a mask, CPAP machine, and possibly a humidifier. Your equipment will be set at the pressure setting(s) prescribed by your physician. You will then be thoroughly educated about your CPAP equipment in preparation for home use.
What can be determined from a CPAP trial?
CPAP Therapy equipment has the capacity to store data collected while in use. During any follow-up appointments, your therapy data will be downloaded and a report generated. Your CPAP Therapy Consultant will analyse this report to determine how well your therapy is working. Your physician will receive updates of all therapy reports.
Our aim is to find the most comfortable and effective way to achieve your best possible therapy results.
At the end of your trial you will have a clear indication of how well CPAP Therapy is working for you. At this point, assuming you are continuing with therapy, long-term arrangements will be made regarding your CPAP equipment.
Your therapy equipment may then be purchased or hired.
