CPAP Therapy
Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) is recognised internationally as the gold standard of treatment for OSA .
During sleep, CPAP Therapy provides a constant flow of gentle air pressure to keep the airways open. A small machine pumps air through a mask to the nose and/or mouth, then into the upper airway. This air acts as a ‘splint’, preventing the muscles in the upper airway from collapsing while you sleep.
CPAP Therapy is a drug-free, non-surgical treatment endorsed by the Academy of Sleep Medicine.
With CPAP Therapy, your therapy data can be recorded each night. This data is used to create reports for therapy analysis, and physician updates. Your therapy data helps us to accurately measure your health improvements.
